SCHOLARSHIPS

Admissions Scholarship

All applicants will be considered for Admissions Scholarship.

Applicant’s eligibility for the scholarship will be assessed on a case-by-case basis after admission interview is conducted . The Admission Committee will make decision for the admission offer together with the Admissions Scholarship. Successful applicants will be notified for the scholarship award. No separate application is required. 

Dean’s MSc Admissions Scholarship

The HKUST Business School has established the Dean’s MSc Admissions Scholarship for outstanding HKUST UG final year students and graduates in two years admitted to the School's MSc programs. Successful applicants will be awarded up to HK$ 100,000 of tuition waiver.

Eligible applicants admitted to the MScISM Program will be further evaluated for the scholarship based on rigorous and holistic approach. Successful applicants will be notified by the MScISM Program Office for the scholarship award. No separate application is required.

HKUST Business School’s MSc Diversity Excellence Scholarship

The HKUST Business School has newly launched the MSc Diversity Excellence Scholarship to support outstanding international applicants who are determined to study in the top business school in the Asia hub, share their cultural outlook and enrich the class diversity in the MSc Programs. Successful applicants will be awarded up to HK$ 100,000 of tuition waiver.

Eligible applicants admitted to the HKUST MScISM Program will be evaluated for the scholarship based on a rigorous and holistic approach. The MScISM Program Office will notify successful applicants of the scholarship award. No separate application is required.

Targeted TPg Programmes Fellowships Scheme  

The University Grants Committee (UGC) has awarded the HKUST MScISM Program as one of the eligible programs in the Targeted Taught Postgraduate Programmes Fellowships Scheme for the 2025/26 academic year. All local Hong Kong residents pursuing either full-time or part-time study in MScISM may apply for the fellowships. Successful candidates will be awarded up to HK$120,000 of tuition wavier.

Academic Excellence Scholarship

Outstanding students who demonstrate persistent excellence in academic performance and professional development are eligible to receive the award.

FINANCIAL AID

Hong Kong Government's Continuing Education Fund (CEF)

Hong Kong Government's Continuing Education Fund is for Hong Kong residents. Eligible students can apply for reimbursement of up to HK$25,000.

Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS)

The Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) is offered by the Hong Kong Government, which provides financial assistance in the form of loan(s) to eligible students to settle tuition fees of specific post-secondary / continuing and professional education courses studied in Hong Kong.

Students who have the right of abode in the Hong Kong or have resided or have had their homes in Hong Kong continuously for three complete years immediately prior to the commencement of the programme / course are eligible to apply for an ENLS loan to cover their tuition fees. The maximum amount of loan is the total tuition fee(s) payable in particular academic year.
