Abstract:
What industries will blockchain-based technologies impact? Who will be the major winners (and losers) in the shift to autonomous vehicles? Will artificial intelligence really change “everything"?
With the velocity of technological innovation increasing year-on-year, it is now harder than ever to keep up. It has also never been more important. Once stable industries are evolving with unprecedented speed, competitors that didn't exist merely a few years ago are upending long established businesses, and with them, people's livelihoods. Are you and your peers, colleagues, and family members prepared?
In this session, we’ll explore a range of tools, techniques, and methodologies for tracking emerging technologies and their potential impact. You’ll come away with a framework for better assessing whether the technologies justify the hype, what industries they will ultimately disrupt, and when you should consider investing in training either for yourself or your organization.
