We Are Excited to Announce New Curriculum Updates for Our MScISM Program!
Artificial Intelligence has rapidly become a foundational technology, driving organizations across all industries to innovate and optimize their business operations. To ensure our students are well-prepared to meet these evolving employer demands, we are launching a series of forward-looking updates to our MScISM curriculum—effective from the 2026–27 academic year onwards—empowering you to lead in this new digital era.
Three Distinct Concentrations
Students can now customise their academic journeys through three specialised elective tracks, including our newest addition:
- Financial Technology: Gain the expertise to navigate, manage, and innovate within the rapidly evolving digital financial landscape
- Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Develop the strategic mindset and practical skills needed to launch tech startups or drive digital transformation within established companies
- Artificial Intelligence (NEW): Master the application of machine learning, generative AI, and data ethics to bridge the gap between technical development and business strategy
Interdisciplinary Curriculum
Our interdisciplinary curriculum will set you up for success in any technical or nontechnical profession. You’ll take a deep dive into the core concepts and newest developments in technology management, gaining crucial skills along the way to become a competent, confident and creative leader.
Your Degree, Your Way
Recognising the importance of flexibility, the program offers three pathways for students to tailor their elective experience:
- Single Concentration:
Complete one concentration by taking four designated electives, along with three additional elective courses - Dual Concentrations:
Pursue up to two concentrations simultaneously. Each elective course will count toward only one concentration to ensure clear specialisation - General Pathway:
Graduate without a specific concentration by selecting any seven electives based on your personal interests and career goals
These enhancements empower students to shape their own academic and professional journeys with greater flexibility and specialisation. We look forward to seeing how these new opportunities support your future success in the Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence industries!
